Photography by Max Woltman Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. was produced as the culmination of a tuition-based summer conservatory program in which highly qualified teaching artists work with young performers to develop skills in acting, singing, dancing, literacy, and professionalism. Students age 9 to 15 worked intensively, as much as 7 hours a day, 5 days a week for 5 weeks. In addition, a select number of teens served as stagecraft interns, who assisted in building and crewing the show. Performances played on July 10-July 19, 2009, at the Jim Morley Theater, St. Pius X High School, 5301 St. Josephs Drive NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
