Set on the corner of Hollywood and Vine in modern day Los Angeles, a group of hungry wannabe musicians play haphazardly in front of the iconic Capitol Records building, all vying for a piece of the pie. When a stranger appears, he teaches them the ideals of faith and love and they are transformed as they begin making true music instead of just noise.

Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, the Gaels Theatre Guild’s production of Godspell is a gritty and groundbreaking reflection on the life of Jesus Christ.
