I'm going to be putting on Dear Edwina Jr. this year with my 5th graders. The choreography DVD only came with suggestions for 3 songs. Does anyone know where I can get more choreography ideas?
HI Heather! The DVD's do only come with three songs choreographed, and the DVD shoot is a fun, but lengthy and expensive process with kids. My guess is that some of your students have some great ideas to stage the other numbers. Some are simple and can be done in tableaux setting with minimal staging. I did the pilot production with a large cast (160), and am happy to share ideas and brainstorm with you! Contact me at showsupport@mtishows.com and we'll chat! Dear Edwina is GREAT fun to do, as you most likely already know!

Hi Heather,
We did Dear Edwina Jr. in April, 2010 and it is now one of my favorites - what a fantastic show!!! You can make it as big or as simple as you want. You might be surprised how many ideas your students will have. Since the students are answering the letters through song, very little dance is required. Again, as much or as little as you want.
Because we did the show with middle school and high school students, we had a "big" show with AMAZING choreography by a professional choreographer.
Believe it or not, you will find lots of ideas on youtube.com. Some good.....some pretty bad!! I'd be happy to share some ideas of how we answered the letters - just let me know!!
Enjoy! ~~Connie
