MTI ShowSpace is running a contest to find an individual or group (trio, quartet, etc.) to kick off the 2012 Junior Theater Festival by singing the National Anthem on the main stage in front of over 2,500 attendees. The contest is open to all registered attendees of the 2012 Junior Theater Festival.

How It Works

• Make sure you are a member of MTI ShowSpace. Registering is free and is open to anyone over the age of 13.
• Upload a video of an individual or group singing the National Anthem (a cappella).
• To upload your video, go to the VIDEOS tab in the header and use the drop-down menu to find and click the UPLOAD A VIDEO link. 
• Tag your submission with: nationalanthem2012

Please note there is only one submission per contestant allowed.

If you are under 13 years of age, you must ask your group leader or teacher to upload the submission for you.

The deadline for all video submissions is December 28th at 5pm EST, and a panel of judges from MTI ShowSpace will select the winning performer. Please note that the judges' decision is final and there is no monetary reward or additional consideration for the winner. A representative will contact the winner approximately two weeks prior to the Festival, and the general announcement of the winner will take place at the 2012 Junior Theater Festival prior to the performance.
