This is an original scene design for Fiddler on the Roof. This rental is for the design ONLY, not the actual set.  I originally designed this set for a high school production of this show. This set  revolves on casters and opens up to reveal  each interior or location. The set includes two main units.  The larger unit includes, Tevye's house outside, the kitchen inside, the bedroom inside,  the inn and tailor shop outside, the inn inside, the tailor shop inside. The smaller unit  becomes the barn on one side and the train station on the other.

For the cost of rental you will receive 13 detailed full size (20" x 30") pdf files that include platform layouts, elevations, dimensions, cut lists for materials and even basic props designs for most of the furniture elements in the show. Not only that but this design actually includes drawings showing the step by step assembly of the units. The pdf files can be viewed on any computer, emailed to crew members and easily printed at any Staples or Kinkos type print shop.

The benefits to this design include super fast scene changes that the audience loves to watch and a fast  inexpensive to build especially if you have some existing platforms and casters. There are lots of opportunities for blocking and wonderful scenic  "looks" that do not require tons of finish work to look really great.
