Our production of RENT in August 2010 acquired and used these props/costume pieces from various sources.

The whole package is for sale ($1000 + shipping) or rent ($100/month + shipping).  If you would like to purchase or rent individual pieces, offers will be considered. (be aware, the expensive items are the 16MM cameras and the police outfits/helmets)

(qty 2) - 16MM Bolex/Paillard Cameras (one for rehearsal, one for performance).  Both work, but one is in better condition. NO TRIPOD! (see photo below) (originally purchased on ebay for several hundred each)

(qty 3) - Cell Phones circa mid-90's (I have the chargers, but we did not turn them on) (see photo below) (acquired on ebay)

(qty 1) - Working Phone/Answering machine (tape, not digital). (acquired on ebay)

(qty 3) - Actual motorcycle helmets, but with flip-up MIRRORED visors.  Size - standard adult large. (they fit all of our cast members) - bought helmets and visors separately/NEW from a motorcycle web site

(qty 3) - Adjustable Riot vests (not bulletproof) with pockets and ammo slots.  Bought new from a website. (you can attach non-permanent NYPD signage and nametags to it)

You can purchase it all for $1000.00

If you are interested in renting the package, realize I am not looking to gouge anyone - just to make my money back over the long-term.

RENTAL $100.00 PLUS packaging/shipping to you (estimated $40 insured via UPS Parcel Ground - cannot go to a PO Box!) - prefer payment by PayPal to protect both parties.  If you want to send a check, that is okay, but I will not ship the props until the check clears.  YOU ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING/HANDLING COSTS SENDING IT BACK TO ME.

I will send the props quickly after payment.  You can use them for 2-3 weeks of rehearsal (ASAP after payment) and up to four weeks of performance for $100.00 (+shipping).  Props are due back a maximum of 10 days after closing.  After 10 days, I will expect another month of rent.

A couple of companies have rented the props in 2011 via MTIShowSpace, so if you want independent references, I can give you a couple names.

If you want to rent specific elements, make an offer (remember, shipping is still on you as well).

(NOTE: This ad has been edited several times since its original posting back in November, 2010.  With each rental, I learn to put more detail into this ad based on "short payments" and "late rental returns")
